Manila, Philippines-The Tuloy Foundation is located along the Alabang-Sapot Road in Muntinlupa Kupang, just a stone’s throw away from the center of Alabang. The new XO oil field, which was formed on April 26, is hidden behind the huge Tuloy complex. It is a unique facility in many ways.
The dimensions of the new site are 87m x 45m. This is far less than the minimum specified value of 100m x 64m, but this size is suitable for casual and teenage games. This dimension is roughly similar to that of the BGC Turf field.
It is called XO Field not because it has reached a lucrative naming rights deal with the Cognac brand. The priest Lodge hopes that the street children, orphans and outcasts of the Tuloy Foundation can be "different", so "XO"
This is the priest. Rocky and his friend and legal counsel Gil Zerrudo. Ivangelista, chairman of the Turoi Foundation, has long advocated football as a tool for the formation of youth values, calling football "a school for life." Evangelista said: "Once you like football, you will always look for football stadiums. This is a different addiction."
Raymond Tan, the chief executive officer of the apparel company Luen Thai in Hong Kong, provided funding for the launch. He is on the left of former Azkar coach Aris Kaslib. Chen owns a football school in Hong Kong and wandered around during the release. Tan has a twin brother, Jerry, who is the president of the Northern Mariana Football Association. Jerry also built a turf court there.
Unlike almost all other artificial turf in the country, this stadium has no fillers or rubber particles. The contractor Firmbuilders stated that since there is no heat-absorbing rubber, this will make the surface much cooler in hot weather. The brand of Tencate Thiolon grass is Torch Grass. Rolin Uy of Firmbuilders stated that Torch is a leading supplier in China.
Below the turf is a 10 mm shock cushion to provide comfort. I must say that it does feel very relaxing. My 45-year-old knee agreed.
Tulai’s children also play rugby, so this soft court is very suitable for this sport.
Firmbuilders provides five years of free maintenance for the stadium. This is also the length of the warranty. This is Firmbuilders' fourth asphalt installation in the Philippines. They are at the DLSU Canlubang Stadium, the turf of the Quirino Stadium in Ilocos Bantai South, and the venue of the Ilocos United in the first PFL season, as well as the venue of the New Ecija Technical University in Cabanatuan.
All these courts have the iconic striped grass, and the assistant referee must issue an offside penalty, which may be liked.
Firmbuilders' next football project will be an indoor 200-meter-long track with a small turf field the size of a futsal football, which will soon rise in Sta. Rosa. Pay attention to it!
The two seven-a-side courts have yellow lines. According to my calculations, they are 45 meters long and 38 meters wide. For small side games, this is a good square size. Fast wingers will like the ample space on the wing. This makes the XO venue ready for the multi-court football festival.
An interesting feature of this area is the penalty area and the six-yard area that is smaller than the regulations. I heard that the target frame is also smaller. The idea is to make these proportional to the size of the field. I think the big box is now about 7 meters narrower than the regulations. This concept contrasts with the similarly sized Turf BGC court, which has a full-size penalty area, six-yard area and goal frame to simulate a real court.
This setting in XO is not ideal for serious casual players who want a full 40m x 18m penalty area, but for Tuloy kids who use the field most often, it doesn't matter.
Three rows of seats are on the side of the court. This applies to most festivals and events here.
Tuloy kids in their field. Father Rocky said his players were trained to quickly make up for their lack of size. When people were asked why the Turoi football players are so fast, the priest. Rocky quipped, "That's because they have been used to avoiding the police all their lives."
There is ample buffer space between the sideline and the wall. Good decision.
This area is mainly used by Tuloy children, but Fr. Rocky is willing to rent it out. There should be many demands for its superior geographical location.
This will be the second artificial football field near Alabang-Sabot Road. The former turf stadium Kickoff Indoor Football Center opened 4 kilometers in 2013, but unfortunately it closed shortly afterwards. Some people think that XO will persist for a while. – Rappler.com
