The new partnership provides the Australian sports turf industry with a revolutionary new hybrid grass system-SISGrass sewn hybrid grass. SISGrass machines are versatile and provide the fastest installation on the market. The artificial grass fiber is injected into the competition field, the surface is instantly stabilized, and the natural grass is protected.

SISGrass is stitched into a 20mm x 20mm square pattern with 20mm fibers above the surface and 180mm fibers below the surface. The mixed surface is composed of 5% artificial grass and 95% natural grass, which can increase the game time by up to three times.

SISGrass is designed for long-term performance, with a life expectancy of more than 10 years. Polyethylene fiber has UV stability and abrasion resistance. Fiber can also be recycled, which makes SISGrass a sustainable choice.

SISGrass machines are driven by electricity and guided by lasers to improve accuracy during installation. One machine can stitch a full-size football field in 7 days. A smaller version of the stitching machine can also be used for goal boxes, golf courses, tennis courts and cricket courts.

SISGrass was launched in 2015 and has been installed in more than 100 stadiums, including 50 stadiums worldwide. SISGrass has been used with cold season grasses in the Premier League, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League and Rugby World Cup. SISGrass is also used in the warm season grass of the AFC Asian Cup. SISGrass is also widely used in community sports.

HG Turf Group has been supplying hybrid grass to the market for more than 20 years. The launch of SISGrass extends the HG Turf Group's grass system products.

"We are very happy to work with HG Turf Group. Our SISGrass technology has been installed all over the world, and working with this experienced partner provides an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality hybrid surfaces for the new market in Australia," SISGrass Said Managing Director Ivo Lamot.

"We are very pleased to work with SISGrass and provide their patented technology in Australia. Our cooperation includes the purchase of a SISGrass stitching machine, which will ensure local supply and support of this international technology. SISGrass completes our mixed grass product portfolio. Our cooperation with SISGrass is an important milestone for HG Turf Group, and we are grateful for this opportunity," added Hamish Sutherland, Managing Director of HG Turf Group.
