Sources told The Athletic that Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo has been assigned to Wisconsin Herd, an NBA G-League affiliate in Milwaukee. This makes him expected to make his debut this season in December after an ankle surgery in June.
The source told The Athletic that DiVincenzo had been assigned to Herd and was given a training representative when he was about to return to the court. The cattle will not have a game until the game against the Cleveland Stormtroopers on December 12.
After the 24-year-old Di Vincenzo tore his ankle ligament in the first round of the playoffs, he has not appeared in the defending championship this season. In the 2020-21 season, Villanova started 66 games for Milwaukee, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
Although starting center Brook Lopez continues to be absent, Bucks general manager Jon Horst introduced senior free agents DeMarcus Cousins and Wesley Matthews to consolidate the lineup last week.
