Most importantly, the 20th-ranked Ohio State Women's Basketball Team wants to maintain consistency.

After a 17-point advantage over Syracuse University, the Buckeyes got a good card before the important first ten game of the season against the 10th Indiana State team at home on Sunday. The number one opponent this season.

Against a heavily overtaken team at Mount St. Mary's (1-7), Ohio State University did what it was supposed to do. The Buckeyes (7-1, 1-0 Big Ten) took control of the game early and remained efficient in Value City Arena with a score of 94-50 on Tuesday. They shot 56.3% from the field and made 10 of 20 three-pointers.

"In the past few weeks, we have become a more talented team in the game, we got rid of what we were trying to get better," coach Kevin McGuff said. "But I think tonight we have a sound defense in most situations. We had a little time in the second half and we turned the ball over, but for most of the time, we were responsible for possession, execution and high quality shots. Shots."

Jesse Sheldon led all scorers with 19 points on 9 of 12 shots, followed by Taylor Mikesell with 15 points and Rebecca Mikulasikova and Tanaya Beechm with 13 points each. . Sophomore Gabi Hutcherson scored a career-high 13 points and performed perfectly in her three-pointers.

At the end of the third quarter, McGuff took a break and Ohio State led Hutcherson with a 71-35 career-high 22 minutes. Freshman Taylor Thierry played only 3 minutes after Syracuse played 19 minutes, but did not play at Purdue.

Hutcherson said: "I think I just need to use my playing time to show them what I can do." "No matter what the opponent is, I must always be prepared."

Ohio State University finished the first quarter with a score of 21-3, led by a pair of three-pointers from Hutcherson and Mikesell. After a somewhat slow start in the second half, she only scored three points in about 3.5 minutes. Shelton hit her first three-pointer of the game, then grabbed a rebound at the other end and pushed the floor to help Mike Sell three again. The points expanded the first half to lead 5:58 to 34-12.

The Buckeyes news caused Mount Saint Mary to make 15 turnovers in the first half and 23 total turnovers. Ohio State University has 11 turnovers, which is lower than Purdue University's 22.

Last week’s loss to Syracuse University and Purdue University’s results were completely opposite.

The defensive team tried to slow down anyone in Orange, and the boiler manufacturer's field goal percentage was less than 30%. The nation's highest-scoring team-despite a poor schedule-scored only 24 points in the first half against Purdue University, after scoring more than 90 points with Syracuse. On Tuesday, the Buckeyes scored 25 points in the first quarter against the Climbing Team and dominated from start to finish.

Shelton said that since the loss to Syracuse, the Buckeyes have improved and this will be the biggest test for the Buckeyes so far this season on Sunday.

"We must have learned from that (loss)," Sheldon said. "We are focused on what we need to be better (in)."
