THESE stunning athletes draw attention for their talent and good looks.

From the world of swimming to skateboarding, these stars are pin-ups of their sports.

And they could definitely be considered as contenders to German runner Alica Schmidt's throne as 'World's sexiest athlete', although it's worth noting that's a tag she doesn't necessarily like.

SunSport has drawn up a list of contenders below...

28-year-old Canadian Newman is a track and field star - who specialises in the pole vault.

She competed in the 2016 and 2020 Olympics, but didn't get a medal.

She missed out on a bronze medal by just 0.09 seconds as she finished fifth in the final of the 100m hurdles.

The Serbian long jumper is a two-time indoor champion, three times European indoor champion and reigning European champion.

In 2013, she made history as the first Serb to win a medal at the IAAF Outdoor World Championships.

The 32-year-old followed that up with the gold medal at the indoor event in 2018.

However, at the Olympics last year she was disappointed to finish just outside the medals in the fourth.
